The Range Rover Evoque - Video below
We got the reveal of the new Range Rover Evoque on Thursday night at Kensington Palace, and we were delighted to see that the production version has come through almost unchanged from the original concept. But it wasn’t actually a big surprise after the Range Rover Evoque spy photos we published showed a very similar silhouette to the original LRX Concept. The Kensington Palace reveal was about capping off Range Rover’s 40th Anniversary with a flourish; the way forward being the plan.

Volvo will provide us with a taster of the new S60 saloon when it shows the S60 concept car at the Detroit motor show in January 2009. No exterior photos have been issued yet, but Volvo today released some teaser shots of the new S60's cabin. The interior of the concept car further develops the Swedes' signature 'floating' centre console – first introduced on the S40 – and Volvo has teamed up with Swedish glass specialist Orrefors.
The Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 -launches Spring 2011
We got a glimpse of the Peugeot 3008 HYbrid4 at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year, and at the time we commented that it looked almost ready to go. And so it seems – even though almost a year has passed – with the reveal today by Peugeot of what will be the world’s first diesel hybrid when the 3008 HYbrid4 starts to hit the road in 2011. You couldn’t get a much better starting point for a hybrid than the 3008 Crossover (read our review of the Peugeot 3008 if you have any doubts).
